Style Showdown

Shorter styling rounds, rotating challenges and eliminations lead to a final three—and a separate Style Star progression.

Style Showdown launched March 1, 2025 and received a large refresh on July 4, 2026. Its rotation and rewards can change independently of standard mode.

The Summer 2026 overhaul added more than 100 items to the rotation and new challenge types.

Core difference

Every round can remove players.

Challenges may shorten or constrain the styling phase. Survive each result until the final three; the winner receives a random unowned piece from the active set.

How a match flows

Read the theme and challenge

The challenge can change the normal rules, so identify both before choosing an outfit.

Style under a shorter clock

Rounds are generally three minutes or less, depending on the challenge. Prioritize one strong silhouette and a few clear anchors.

Face elimination

Results remove players between rounds. Continue until three finalists remain.

Complete the final

The winner earns a random piece from the current set that they do not already own. Three wins are needed to collect a three-piece set.

Strategy for constrained rounds

  • Plan the first readable silhouette before searching for a perfect accessory.
  • Treat the challenge as part of the prompt; an on-theme outfit that ignores the constraint is incomplete.
  • Save broad hair, face and color combinations in advance so you spend time on the actual theme.
  • Use fewer layers if the clock is short enough that recoloring them would risk an unfinished look.
