Analytics choice

Google Analytics is loaded only after you select “Allow analytics” in the site notice. If enabled, it can receive page and device information used to understand aggregate guide usage. Advertising storage is denied. You can reset the choice by clearing this site’s local storage.

Local storage

The key dtiwiki-analytics-consent stores whether you accepted or declined analytics. Search and calculators run in the browser and do not require an account.

Embedded videos

Video thumbnails are local. A YouTube player from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain is created only after you press its load button. YouTube’s own policies then apply to that interaction.
